Jameson appointed to President’s Energy Policy Board, Makes Ethanol a Priority.

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congressman Theodore C. Jameson, after meeting with President Whitney Mason and the Secretary of Energy this morning, was appointed to the President’s newly formed Energy Policy Board. Made up of experts and representatives from all over America, the Energy Policy Board is focused on making the swift, but careful transition to renewable energy and ethanol. Congressman Jameson took the opportunity to express his support for the Energy Policy Board and the Administration he serves under. After meeting with other members of the Energy Policy Board, Congressman Jameson introduced the Ethanol Infrastructure Expansion Act of 2017 in the House Hopper. The bill is meant to require the Secretary of Energy to award funds to study the feasibility of constructing dedicated ethanol pipelines, to address technical factors that prevent transportation of ethanol in existing pipelines, and to increase the energy, economic, and environmental security of the United States. Congressman Jameson is confident that the bill will begin the transition to a renewable energy future for America through ethanol.
